EzCaza is a B2C and B2B SaaS that helps people buy and sell properties. The company makes real estate transactions easier by adding more transparency to listings for both buyers and sellers. Users of the EzCaza platform can add and view relevant information to home listings — including but not limited to people involved with a listing, photos, dates, and documents.
EzCaza aims to create more transparency and trust in the real estate industry. Oftentimes, real estate agents are not trusted in the home-buying process. EzCaza aims to create more trust by giving more context and background to home listings. The company does this by creating a straightforward and easy-to-navigate user experience on its website.
To help improve the overall user experience of EzCaza’s site, I further developed several hi-fi screens for users to view or list home listings, view or add individuals involved in a listing, view important dates regarding a listing, and upload documents.

There were two Jira tickets generated for this project. Those tickets involved the following flows:
As a User, I want to be able to view a new house listing to sell.
As a User, I want to be able to see/add members of the transaction team.
EzCaza provided several established design aspects. For some of the materials provided, I was able to clean up and refine them further.
EzCaza had established color and text styles but did not include them in a style guide. To help create more consistency and awareness of the brand, I created a style guide based on their existing styles.

After drafting the style guide, I created two high-fidelity screens based on the Jira tickets — the property info screen and the team member screen.
For the property info screen, I added all content including the home image and property details. I corrected the pixel spacing of the menu by spacing each section evenly. Next, I added auto layout to each section to ensure that the spacing was even.

I created the team member screen from scratch by creating the columns, adding consistent padding between the columns using auto layout, and using component variants for the team member rows.

One of the main functionality features requested was to have the ability to add people to the team member screen. In order to reach this goal, I created an overlay component and dropdown menu to search and select a team member.

After drafting the high-fidelity screens, I created a prototype to test the functionality of the site and certain features, including the overlay when adding to the team members section.
Additionally, I enjoyed working on a project for a B2C startup focused on a specific area in immigration. Working on a design for a specific service was great because I could focus on the details of the design and functionality and keep the interface relatively simple.
his project was a great learning experience for better understanding task requests through programs like Jira. I enjoyed putting together the style guide and building high-fidelity screens based on the components and features that were already provided in the Figma file. If I were to start this entire project from scratch, I would be sure to add components and text, and color styles for all features, from the beginning. However, The project went well in terms of executing specific goals — I was able to create the property info and team member screens from scratch and build an overlay component that engages the user in a specific goal-oriented activity.
